The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to take a senior leadership role, driving strategic client engagements and leading teams to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions. You will build and expand our SC&O practice, develop and deepen client relationships at the most senior levels, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of supply chain and operations for our clients.
You will leverage your extensive experience to influence C-suite agendas, mentor the next generation of leaders, and collaborate across the breadth of EY. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Advanced Digital Platforms.

Your key responsibilities
Our clients trust us to deliver lasting value. As a Director, you will be accountable for the success of major client programmes, business development, operational excellence, and the growth and development of our people.
Focus on our clients
* Build, maintain, and strengthen senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor bringing depth of experience in at least one area of supply chain i.e., operations, planning, procurement, manufacturing, etc
* Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with client strategy and measurable outcomes
* Anticipate client needs and market trends, proactively shaping solutions and thought leadership that address emerging challenges
Develop our business
* Drive business development, originating and converting opportunities to grow our SC&O practice
* Represent the firm in the market through thought leadership, public speaking, and industry forums
* Collaborate across sectors and service lines to bring the best of our global expertise to clients
Drive operational excellence
* Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale projects and programmes, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability
* Establish and maintain rigorous governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks
* Champion continuous improvement and innovation in our methodologies and delivery
Develop our people
* Inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing, diverse teams
* Act as a sponsor and coach for future leaders, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and excellence

Your experience
Directors bring significant experience, with a track record of delivering complex supply chain and operations transformations at scale. Your experience will be valued across several sectors, with a key focus on Consumer Products, Health & Life Sciences, Energy and Industrials, Transport, Government & Infrastructure. You will have deep expertise in one or more of the following areas, with broad experience across others:
Technical Skill
* Supply Chain Transformation: Led end-to-end supply chain transformations, including strategy, design, and delivery of people, process, and technology change.
* Digital Supply Chain / Technology: Deep experience implementing advanced supply chain technologies and digital solutions.
* Supply Chain Planning: Expertise in demand and supply planning, S&O,P, segmentation, inventory optimisation, and related technologies.
* Commercial & Procurement: Leadership in procurement strategy, operating model design, category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and procurement technology.
* Operating Model Transformation: Shaping and delivering operating model strategy and transformation at enterprise scale.
* Supply Chain Strategy: Advising on supply chain strategy, segmentation, and performance improvement across the value chain.
