Immediate 3rd Shift Temp-to-Hire Experienced Welder Jobs in Carlisle, IA!
Starting Pay:$21.00-$25.00/ hour (DOE)
Hours:6:00pm-6:00am (Monday – Thursday) *Ability to train on days 2-4 weeks
Duties:
* Monitor inventory and submit orders as needed
* Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as needed
* Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts
* Fasten structural steel members to hoist cables, using chains, cables, or rope
* Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, or welding equipment
* Fabricate metal parts, such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders
* Measure, cut and bend rebar
* Quality assurance of work pieces for defects
Requirements:
* 2-year trade school preferred or equivalent experience (4 years)
* Stick and wire welding experience
* Welding certificate
* Ability to read blueprints
* Position could involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
