Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Logistics Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistics activities on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that materials, equipment, and personnel are delivered and managed efficiently to support smooth construction operations, on-time project completion, and adherence to safety standards and company policies. You will be required to run a number of sites located in close proximity and manage additional resources as and when required.
Accountability
1. Logistics Planning & Coordination:
2. Develop and implement site logistics plans for all phases of construction.
3. Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
4. Schedule and manage vehicle access, crane operations, hoists, and deliveries.
5. Material & Inventory Management:
6. Monitor inventory levels and place orders to avoid material shortages or overstock.
7. Manage unloading and proper storage of materials to prevent damage and loss.
8. Implement systems to track materials used and optimize supply usage.
9. Ensure delivery tickets are correctly recorded and returned to head office.
