The Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery (LWAG) is the University of Western Australia's premier public gallery, situated on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. LWAG stewards the UWA Art Collection and the Cruthers Collection of Women’s Art and works closely with the Berndt Museum to support teaching, learning, and research. Through exhibitions, programs, and community engagement, LWAG plays a vital role in building cultural vitality on campus, within the state, and across the national arts landscape.
About the opportunity
* Be the first point of contact for thousands of visitors, shaping an inviting and informative front-of-house experience.
* Support the delivery of high-quality exhibitions, events, and programs that celebrate contemporary art and diverse perspectives.
* Contribute to smooth gallery operations, including administration, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
* Experience in customer service or administrative environments, ideally within galleries, museums, or cultural settings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage warmly with diverse audiences.
* Solid computing skills across email, spreadsheets, databases and general office systems.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small and dynamic team.
* Relevant experience in hospitality, retail sales, project delivery, and/or MYOB.
