Experience required…
Essential
* UK experience within a public, private or third‑sector UK‑based client
* Experience in leading technical teams within a public infrastructure or highways context.
* Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it), with expertise in bridges or large civil structures.
* Managing complex engineering projects, budgets, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
* Proficient in developing and implementing asset management plans for bridges, interpreting data for strategic investment and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards throughout the asset lifecycle.
* Experience with contracts and procurement processes.
* Working within a political and multi‑agency environment.
* Clear, confident communication with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
* Adapting to change and promoting best practice in engineering risk, design standards, and statutory compliance.
* A full UK driving licence
