We are looking for a hands-on General Manager with strong knowledge of both Bar and Restaurant. Someone who has a love of great food, people and genuine hospitality. Someone with drive and ambition, who can inspire and motivate their team and themselves whilst delivering an amazing experience for all our guests.
The Role:
To be a leader and to help grow a positive experience and a fantastic team. You will maintain the highest standards of service. You will be forward thinking and innovative in your approach to sales growth, improving profitability and the guests overall experience. In addition, you will lead from the front driving genuine hospitality, serving amazing food and drinks making wonderful memories for all the team and guests. This will include an understanding of cask ale and cellar management.
We're looking for someone who:
* Is currently (or has been) in a Management position within a restaurant and bar environment
* Has prior experience within a kitchen, working with the Head Chef to support and lead the kitchen team
* Is a commercially aware leader who ensures your team delivers exceptional food and drinks quality
* Is passionate about people, cares about their guests and team, creating a positive place to be
* Constantly inspires their team to go the extra mile for our guests maintaining expectations and high standards
* Recognises succession for a strong talent pipeline and are proactive in developing their management and front of house
* Able to stay calm and lead their team to success in a high paced environment
* Is a true people person who has the ability to flex and adapt their leadership style
We're looking for someone who can:
* Manage recruitment, induction and on boarding of new team members
* Support the Head Chef, pushing the team and the business forward and assisting in kitchen operations if required
* Demonstrate leadership with a hands-on approach and effective communication, engaging and motivating your team through pre-shift and post-shift briefs
* Manage stock control and food and drink margins
* Manage EHO and Health and Safety audits to a high standard
* Drive individual high performance through development and team one to ones
* Have an eye for detail and thrive in a high volume fast paced environment
* Show passion for the brand, visible when ensuring your team are knowledgeable and confident
