Production Line Operator - Full-Time New Depot Opening in Dumfries Dumfries Monday to Friday - Day Shifts (40 hours/week) Start Date: Late August 2025 Permanent Role We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Line Operator to join a new production site in, Dumfries. You'll start in late August to support setup, training, and initial operations ahead of a full launch later in the year. This is a production role that involves operating and maintaining machinery, following strict hygiene procedures, and supporting a small team in getting things running smoothly from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Operate machinery on the production line to meet daily output targets Carry out product quality checks and record results accurately Use a forklift to handle stock and materials (experience required) Assist with troubleshooting and basic fault resolution on machines Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene procedures Develop and maintain working knowledge of: Machinery Work Instructions Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs) All production line equipment on siteWhat We're Looking For Experience working on a production line (ideally in food or drink manufacturing) Forklift licence or relevant experience operating forklifts Basic mechanical aptitude - comfortable around machinery and technical tasks A proactive attitude, with strong timekeeping and a keen eye for detail Someone who's hands-on, dependable, and ready to get stuck inPay & Benefits £13.00 per hour (based on a 40-hour week) £50 monthly attendance allowance £500 Christmas bonus Free access to a holiday villa in the Canary Islands (after qualifying period) No weekend work - Monday to Friday schedule Be part of a brand-new site with opportunities to grow as the team expandsThis is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, practical role with solid benefits and a fresh start on a new production line
