People Services Administrator Contract: Shared Hub & Recruitment (P&C) Location: Bolton, BL6 6SU (hybrid role) Hours of work: 37.5 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a People Services Administrator to support the launch of our new People & Culture helpdesk, providing a first-class service for colleagues and ensuring all P&C queries are accurately captured and directed to the right place. This role will play a crucial part in creating a smooth, consistent experience for employees and managers across the organisation. Job Description We are looking for someone who is genuinely motivated by helping others, able to communicate clearly, and comfortable following structured guidance and work instructions. ​With multiple internal and external changes coming to P&C, full training will be provided, and we aim to go live as soon as possible. ​Approval is being sought for two additional roles, and applications will be open to both internal and external candidates. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for P&C queries, ensuring accurate logging and redirection within a 2‑day SLA. Deliver high‑quality HR administration across the employee lifecycle. Prepare and issue employee contracts, changes and related documentation. Support pre‑boarding, cross‑boarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience. Maintain accurate employee files and update P&C systems with required information. Support compliance activities, including GDPR, DSAR data gathering and internal governance requirements. Manage shared mailbox enquiries, providing timely and professional responses. Build effective working relationships across P&C and the wider business Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications A passion for delivering first-class, professional customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Confident working with data; proficient touch typing. Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively. Flexible and adaptable with a collaborative approach.
