Food Truck Operator / Manager
Househill Café is looking for a motivated, reliable individual to join our ever-expanding team.
We're searching for the right person to take ownership of the outside catering and food truck side of the business. This is a hands-on, independent role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food and excellent customer service.
You'll be responsible for operating the truck during service, managing stock and prep, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and creating a positive, friendly experience for our customers. This role offers a high level of autonomy and is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to gain real, practical experience in how a business operates. You'll travel to a wide range of locations across the Highlands and work at some of the region's biggest and most exciting events.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operating the food truck during service
* Food preparation and handling
* Delivering friendly, professional customer service
* Stock control and basic ordering
* Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
* Opening / closing procedures
* Driving the food truck to various locations
What We're Looking For:
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Reliable, punctual, and organised
* Comfortable working independently
* Friendly and confident with customers
* Flexible with variable start times
* Previous hospitality / food experience beneficial but not essential
