Teaching Personnel's PWR team is proud to be supporting a high-performing all-through school in Bexley in their search for a full-time, permanent SENCo. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on inclusive education and ensure every pupil receives the support they need to succeed.
Location: Bexley, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 to £57,000 (MPS/UPS Outer London) + SEN Allowance + £1,500 Trust Allowance + Performance and Loyalty Bonus + Wellbeing Cash Plan + Pension Scheme (TPS) + Additional Trust Benefits
As SENCo, you will take a whole-school lead on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) provision, working across both primary and secondary phases. You'll play a key role in shaping a fully inclusive learning environment, leading on EHCPs, staff training, intervention strategies, and liaising with external agencies.
1. Lead and manage all aspects of SEND provision across the school
2. Coordinate EHCPs, assessments, and support plans in collaboration with staff and families
3. Provide training and guidance to teaching and support staff
4. Develop and monitor intervention strategies to support pupil progress
5. Work closely with SLT to ensure an inclusive school culture
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards it)
* Substantial experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally in both primary and secondary settings
* Strong knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practice
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
