Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher for a high-achieving 2-form entry school in Barking, starting September 2025. This role is full-time. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5.
* Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and support student learning.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, enthusiasm, and a love for learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery and share best practices.
* Communicate with parents and guardians regularly, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching in Year 5 or a similar primary setting.
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
* A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices.
