Position Overview
The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science at the University of Nottingham is seeking an Assistant Professor in Equine Practice. The role involves delivering undergraduate teaching and assessment across the curriculum at the Sutton Bonington Campus, and potentially providing a clinical service at an associated practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an innovative equine curriculum as part of an internationally recognised team of clinical teachers, supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver undergraduate teaching and assessment across the equine curriculum.
* Support the development and delivery of an innovative equine curriculum within an internationally recognised teaching team.
* Assist in providing a clinical service at one of our clinical associate practices (if possible).
* Support postgraduate education in equine practice.
Qualifications
* MRCVS qualification required.
* Postgraduate qualifications in an area of equine practice are advantageous.
* Experience in equine practice is essential.
* Familiarity with teaching and assessment in higher education is preferred.
