We are currently seeking a professional Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will undertake planned and reactive maintenance at our client premises, Hull Women & Children's Hospital. The post holder should be hardworking, committed to high standards, and professional in interactions with clients.
As Part Of The Role, You Will
* Perform legislative PPM tasks including Emergency Luminaire Inspection, Testing, and Repair
* Conduct reactive maintenance on various plant and equipment as directed
* Fault diagnosis and solution implementation
* Respond promptly to emergency situations, diagnosing faults and taking preventive actions
* Maintain up-to-date records of all work on plant and equipment
* Provide emergency call-out coverage on a rota basis (1 in 4 weeks)
* Operate the contract proactively to minimize difficulties with environmental systems
* Ensure effective communication with clients and the company
* Liaise with subcontractors and engineers to ensure efficient plant operation
Our Ideal Candidate Will Need To Have
* City and Guilds or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering; BS7671 - 18th Edition; additional qualifications like 2391 are desirable
* Evidence of multi-skilled training
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Valid UK Driving Licence
* Knowledge of building services systems and maintenance management
* Understanding of health and safety procedures
* Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with BMS Systems
* Ability to live within 30 minutes of the hospital for call-out response times
Desirable
* Experience in a facilities management role or hospital environment
* Experience with controls systems
