My client is seeking an experienced and passionate Dual Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of two children’s homes. This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader to shape services, inspire staff, and achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
The Role
As the Dual Registered Manager, you will:
* Dual Registered Manager will take responsibility for the management of two children’s homes (emergency and planned placements).
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring care is delivered in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
* Provide strong leadership to staff, embedding their ethos and maintaining high professional standards.
* Oversee staff development through supervision, training, and appraisal, fostering a motivated and effective team.
* Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and readiness for Ofsted inspections.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring sustainable service delivery.
* The Dual Registered Manager will participate in the on-call rota to support staff and young people out-of-hours.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Dual Registered Manager needs to be qualified – NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children, Young People & Families (or working towards).
* Experienced – proven track record in residential childcare management.
* Knowledgeable – strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
* A Leader – able to inspire, manage, and retain high-performing teams.
