The Role:
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be a developing leader passionate about creating a positive environment for guests and team members. You will be an expert in food quality and standards, leading and inspiring your team.
Responsibilities:
* Support and develop your team, maintaining high standards
* Manage the kitchen line, plan shifts, and ensure proper coverage
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety standards
* Understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs
* Recognize and celebrate team successes
Ideal Candidate:
* Passionate about team support and high standards
* Experience managing kitchen operations and coaching team members
* Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and financial management in a kitchen setting
* Motivated to foster a positive team environment
