The Role & Key Responsibilities
Surrey Force Command Centre (FCC) has an exciting opportunity for 2 Supervisors to join the department.
There are 2 Supervisor positions to join the team as the New Onboarding and Integration Supervisor. They will be responsible for Onboarding and Integrating all new staff and supporting returners back into the department. This involves leading the team of dedicated coaches to ensure they are supported and that they are meeting the departments needs for all new starters to be ready and signed off on to their rotas in the 8 week coaching period.
They will be inspiring and positive people that can help shape the culture of the department and oversee wellbeing provisions for staff. They will be professional and take great pride in their area of the business and work with the Service Improvement Team to identify and address any themes or trends that may help improve working practices. They will have supervisory responsibility for all new starters whilst they are in the coaching pod. They will be responsible for performance, attendance management, conduct and welfare. The Supervisor will support People Services with attraction activity and support them with recruitment of all new staff. They will maintain the establishment of coaches and set a high standards of professional practice. Every new call taker will begin their career in the department with the coaches. Supervisors will ensure their experience and coaching provision is set at a high standards where support and care is shown to them to achieve their best.
This is a G grade role with a clear career pathway for staff. This role does not offer unsociable hours payment, but does offer flexibility within the shift pattern.
The successful applicant does not need to have worked in the control room previously.
