Role Overview A leading company in the Analytical Services sector is seeking a talented ICP Scientist to join their team in the South West. In this vital role, you will provide technical expertise and support for ICP-OES and ICP-MS analytical products, playing a key part in both internal development and client-facing services. The company offers external training opportunities to support your continued professional growth. Key Responsibilities As the ICP Scientist, you will become a subject matter expert in your field. Your responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting of ICP-OES and ICP-MS systems (Agilent platforms). Method development and enhancement of existing analytical techniques. Instrument maintenance and performance optimisation. Technical training delivery to both internal teams and external clients. Role Requirements To be successful in this role, your background should include: A relevant degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or a related field. Proven industry experience in analytical method development and validation to meet ISO17025 requirements. In depth knowledge on maintenance and troubleshooting for ICP-OES & ICP-MS. Experience of analytical requirements within the food and beverage industry, including both organic and inorganic analysis of contaminants, nutrients, functional components, and allergens.
