About The Role: SHIFT PATTERN - Variable Shift Pattern Relief Role working Days, Nights and Weekends We are currently seeking diligent and experienced Hospital Relief Security Officers to join our team. As a Hospital Relief Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a vigilant presence and conduct regular patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all on-site. - Control access to the hospital, permitting entry only to authorized personnel and visitors. - Respond promptly and efficiently to incidents, following all hospital policies and procedures. - Report all incidents and escalate any issues to the appropriate authority. - Keep accurate and up-to-date records of incidents and daily tasks. - Maintain effective communication with hospital staff, patients, and visitors. Advertising Location:Rotherham Employment Contract Type:Permanent Hours Per Week:37.5 The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security officer role. - Valid SIA license. DS & CCTV desirable. - Proficient in both spoken and written English. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work in a challenging environment. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently. - Flexible approach to working hours and duties. - Good physical fitness and ability to perform physical duties.
