Bobst / Jagenberg
-folder/gluer machinery to produce multi-point glued cartons, working with HHS hot and cold glue extrusion systems to meet exacting customer quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with a supportive production team in a workplace known for high staff retention and strong teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain folder/gluer machines for the production of high-quality cartons.
Operate and maintain hot and cold glue extrusion and detection systems (HHS).
Carry out quality control checks to customer specifications.
Work collaboratively with packing and quality staff to achieve production targets.
Maintain safe and efficient working practices at all times.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Bobst or Jagenberg Folder/Gluer Machine Operator in the box or carton packaging industry
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Willingness to adapt to future shift patterns as the business grows.
Hours & Location:
Current hours:
Monday–Thursday, 07:45–16:15; Friday, 07:45–13:45
(38 hours per week).
Future flexibility : Potential to move to a two-shift system AM/PM shift as production expands but this won't be in the immediate future
Location:
Grange Road, Livingston EH54, Scotland. Free onsite parking.
Pay & Benefits:
£12.90–£17.50
per hour (depending on experience).
Overtime at time and a half; double time after four hours on weekends
29 days holiday (including bank holidays) with Christmas shutdown (8–10 days).
Company pension: 3% employer / 5% employee.
