Great People Work Here
Are you searching for a career with bags of variety, in an environment that celebrates differences and empowers collaboration, which values people and will encourage you to make an impact? Do you want the freedom to explore, and the opportunities to find new ways and to innovate? If so, TwiningsOvo delivers.
Innovation is a key driver of Twining’s global growth and will enable us to build on 300 years of quality and craftsmanship to serve consumers across new occasions and new markets. Are you motivated by the opportunity to have an outsized impact on our growth agenda?
We're looking for an experienced project management leader to both elevate the adoption of consistent, effective, and scalable project delivery practices and to drive effective portfolio tracking, management and prioritisation. This role will focus on embedding project management excellence into our ways of working, ensuring that teams across the business are fully equipped and supported to deliver projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the NPD Leadership Team, this role will work across functional and international teams including the UK, Australia, US and Canada, France and Italy and other key markets across Europe, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.
You'll play a critical part in embedding a high-performance, project-oriented culture, supporting the widespread adoption of project management methodologies, systems, and tools, tailoring these to different innovation types - taking the lead in the development of a Project Management community focused on best practice sharing, consistency, and capability building and career enrichment across the organisation.
Driving Organisational Adoption:
* Partner with leaders across Innovation, R&D, Technical, and Business Units to ensure the organisation is structured and equipped to consistently adopt project delivery practices that support the innovation pipeline.
* Embed fit-for-purpose frameworks and practices to manage different types of innovation projects, focusing on driving understanding and use and application across all teams.
* Actively engage stakeholders across functions to support the uptake and integration of project management capabilities into daily operations.
People-Centric Enablement:
* Establish and champion a Project Management Office (PMO) that promotes reliable, repeatable, and transparent delivery processes and portfolio prioritisation using tools such as Izone (our pipeline planning and project management system).
* Lead and coach a community of project managers to build consistency in project scoping, feasibility and delivery and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the Head of Packaging and Project Delivery to ensure end-to-end alignment in how projects are planned, resourced, and executed across teams.
Systems, Tools & Process Adoption:
* Maximise business-wide adoption of project management methodologies including agile, design led thinking, and stage-gate processes.
* Drive widespread use of the PPM tool—training teams, evolving functionality, and embedding it in all aspects of delivery tracking.
* Champion continuous improvement of existing tools and processes to enhance team experience, improve quality, and reduce time-to-market and if needed, pause or stop projects early.
Governance & Oversight:
* Provide governance and visibility across the portfolio of projects, including resource management, KPI tracking, risk mitigation, and performance dashboards.
* Establish routines for regular updates and reporting to senior stakeholders, enabling fact-based decision-making, smart use of resources and improved prioritisation.
* Ensure that every team involved in project delivery understands their role and accountability in achieving successful outcomes.
