Salary: £130,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with migrating large databases to Exadata ExaCS ExaCC platform.
* Experience with migrating databases to ATP/ADW.
* Design database consolidation to reduce OPEX spending.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database architects and administrators.
* Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and security assessments.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and cloud offerings.
* Implement and manage Exadata X9 hardware including persistent memory (PMem) and RDMA algorithms to optimize performance and reduce latency.
* Deploy and manage Exadata X11-10M98 hardware leveraging high-performance database servers and intelligent storage.
* Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in RAC, RAT testing, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard, and Physical/Logical DG Broker.
* Experience in database security (TDE, Audit Vault, OKV, etc.).
* Experience in OS administration (Linux, Solaris, virtualization, storage, ZFS, ZDLRA).
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) database solutions.
* Develop and maintain database architecture strategies to support business goals.
* Lead the migration and integration of databases across multi-cloud environments including Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
* Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of database systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
