Job Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the systems and processes related to SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within the council.
Ensure effective and efficient operation of all systems, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with SEND regulations and guidelines.
Lead system upgrades and implementations to improve service and operational efficiency.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.
Monitor system performance and address any issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Ensure data integrity and security within all systems related to SEND.
Person Specification
Must Have
Proven experience in managing systems within a public sector or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of SEND regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in relevant IT systems and software.
Nice to Have
Experience in project management and system implementation.
Knowledge of the Derbyshire County Council's operational procedures.
Background in information governance and data protection.
Relevant professional qualifications or certifications.
