About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Children’s Nursing to join our School of Healthcare. This teaching-focused role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to research-inspired education and deliver world-class teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will play a key part in shaping innovative curricula, supporting student learning, and ensuring an outstanding student experience.

You will help us maintain our reputation for excellence by contributing to the development of inclusive programmes that embed sustainability and prepare graduates for the challenges of modern healthcare.
About you
You will be a registered Children’s Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and hold a degree in Nursing (2:1 or above). With a proven track record of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, you will demonstrate a commitment to pedagogical excellence and student success. Your ability to inspire and support learners, combined with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach, will be key to your success in this role.
Ideally, you will hold or be working towards a Master’s or PhD and have experience of contributing to scholarship in nursing education. Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or an equivalent accredited teaching qualification is essential, or you should be willing to achieve this within an agreed timeframe.
