Our client is an international, alternative asset manager that sits in the credit space. With offices in London, New York and Abu Dhabi, this organisation takes an entrepreneurial and opportunistic approach to investments, across long/short credit, structured credit, direct lending and asset-backed finance.
The business is going from strength to strength, and in line with his growth they are looking to hire a legal associate to take on a broad role, joining a legal team of 4 lawyers in the Central London headquarters of the organisation.
We are looking for candidates with prior in-house financial experience, ideally as a paralegal or legal professional in another investment management organisation.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Counsel, and occupy a broad, and varied role, supporting all areas of the business, including:
* Supporting the funds teams on a variety of documentation pertaining to the full life cycle of their funds offering:
* Supporting the structured credit and direct lending legal teams on matters such as transaction execution;
* Assisting the three-strong compliance team when required on regulatory matters/filings;
* Providing corporate governance support to committee/investment meetings, when required.
