Dispatch Operative – Chilled Environment, Temp-Perm
Location: Sittingbourne
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6AM to 2PM
Salary: £13.50 to £14.00 per hour
Role: Dispatch Operative at Shine Marketing. Temp-Perm basis in a food production team with a chilled environment.
Are you a reliable and detail-focused individual with experience in dispatch operations? You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a team. We are looking for a Dispatch Operative to join our client’s food production team on a Temp-Perm basis.
What You Will Do
* Carry out final checks on outgoing stock with precision and accuracy
* Liaise via radio with Planning, Technical, and Transport teams
* Use Electric Pallet Movers (EPM) or similar equipment to prepare and move goods
* Ensure all dispatch paperwork is completed correctly
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety
* Support the wider dispatch team and contribute to a clean and organized working environment
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
* Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment (preferably in food production or chilled goods)
* Confident operating electric pallet movers or similar equipment
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
* Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
* Comfortable working in cold/chilled conditions
* Due to the location of the site you must be able to drive
