About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an innovative, forward‑thinking Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Chesterfield College. The role requires a strong understanding of an engineering discipline and adaptability to complement our existing team delivering engineering subjects to apprentices and full‑time learners.
Responsibilities
* Deliver both workshop and theory sessions in engineering up to Level 3 for apprentices and full‑time students.
* Support the delivery of teaching in workshops and classrooms, including the new Advanced Manufacturing Building.
* Collaborate with local employers and contribute to the delivery of courses in Manufacturing, Maintenance, Fabrication & Welding, and Design.
* Develop and enhance curriculum to meet the needs of our local employers.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in engineering (HNC/D preferred).
* Manufacturing/maintenance background with varied experience in the engineering sector.
* Teaching experience or teaching qualification and assessor award advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
