HR Analyst (Temporary)

Contract: Temporary until 31st December 2025 (with possible extension)

Are you a detail-driven HR professional with strong Excel skills and a head for data? We're recruiting on behalf of a private sector client in North Belfast for a temporary HR Analyst to join their team. This role will focus on delivering accurate, insightful HR reporting and supporting data-led decision-making across the organisation.
The Role
As HR Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing workforce data, producing reports and dashboards, and supporting wider HR initiatives. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, support compliance, and identify trends to drive improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain HR reports, metrics, and dashboards.
* Analyse workforce data such as headcount, absence, turnover, and diversity.
* Ensure data integrity across HR systems and databases.
* Support HR teams with regular and ad hoc reporting requirements.
* Assist with compliance reporting and audit preparation.
* Provide insights to support organisational planning and strategy.
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in a data-focused HR or administrative role.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
o Pivot Tables
o VLOOKUP
o Formulas and data manipulation
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confident communicator, comfortable working with data and people.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple reporting cycles.
Please note: All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a 15-minute Excel assessment as part of the recruitment process.
Desirable
* Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g. iTrent, CoreHR).
* Public sector experience.
* CIPD qualification or HR training (not essential).
Additional Information
* Full-time, based in North Belfast.
* Temporary contract until 31st December 2025, with the possibility of extension.
* Office-based initially, with hybrid working potentially available after training.
* Immediate start preferred.
