Our client are a large global financial services organisation.Execute First Line Operational Risk mandate for the Capital Markets business and support areas through thefollowing responsibilities:1. Ensure high standards in execution of the International team Operational Risk Mandate:a. Prevent operational loss and ensuring the CM business is executed in compliance withapplicable regulations byb. Understanding processes, ensuring effective controls are in place and using data to preventloss2. Prevent loss due to failure in process, people, or systems by managing and remediating loss events,identifying when loss is likely and preventing it, conducting annual risk assessment and other activitiesin support of the framework3. Understanding processes, people and systems used for Capital Markets lines of business4. Build and maintain an understanding of end-to-end processes in support of operational excellence andresilience.5. Identify efficiency opportunities and process improvements by analyzing data; automate and streamlineprocesses and controls in support of creating capacity for further innovation across the team6. Documenting new or existing processes and improving existing processes and ensuring effectivecontrols are in place7. Understanding sources of data generated and the data that is used by Capital Markets, includingtransaction, market, economic data, etc.8. Methodically solving problems across a continuum that ranges from simple day-to-day issues to highlycomplex business, technical or regulatory issues9. Plan and execute short and long-term work and ad hoc deliverables within given timelines10. Preparation of Operational Risk event data for the Business and relevant Committees11. Active participation in relevant Committees and forums to represent the mandate12. Build positive relationships within, GM, across Corporate Support Areas in order to garnersupport, advice and partnership that enables execution of the role13. Ongoing self-study about Capital Markets, emerging regulatory and industry issues, businesspriorities, and best practices
