Account Executives - Water Sector

About the role
You will take a central role in the BMA journey and operate in this space. You will own relationships with key clients in our portfolio whilst also supporting the broader GTM team with new business opportunities. Servicing both our existing and target UK and Ireland water client base. You will also support the penetration of target international markets. The role may require international travel when appropriate. Local travel is a prerequisite.
Requirements
* Minimum three years’ experience selling software/technology solutions; consulting experience in the UK&I water industry is a distinct advantage.
* A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Experience in value‑based selling and navigating the complexities of large deal sales cycles within blue‑chip customers.
* Proven experience with digital and procurement departments in large organisations (≥ £1 billion turnover).
* Ability to rapidly familiarise yourself with the value proposition and clearly articulate it to water industry professionals up to director & C‑suite level.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
Responsibilities
* Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, accountable for driving revenue growth within your allocated accounts.
* Work closely with our Head of Client Demand (Water Sector) and Directors to build and manage a strong pipeline, while also sourcing opportunities directly.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing BMA at conferences/events and maintaining regular update sessions with a range of contacts across your accounts.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all client interactions and opportunities in our CRM system (experience with tools such as HubSpot is a plus, but not essential).
* Understand clients’ needs and feed this feedback into the GTM and Solutions team to help improve strategy, positioning, and execution, and to give input into the solutions development process.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a prerequisite.
Package
We offer market‑related salaries and exceptional, uncapped incentive structures. As a scale‑up business the opportunities for growth are significant for ambitious individuals who outperform. Salary range: £90,000.00 – £180,000.00.
