Interim Commercial Lawyer(s) – Senior & Junior
A major UK corporate client is seeking interim commercial lawyers (2 senior, 1 junior) to support increased transaction volumes across public and private sector sales activity. The organisation operates in a highly regulated, technology-led environment with complex customer contracting needs.
Seniority Levels
* Senior Lawyers: 5+ PQE, able to lead high-value and legally complex transactions independently.
* Junior Lawyer: 2+ PQE or equivalent relevant experience, supporting commercial contracting matters under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial customer and supplier contracts.
* Advise on legal, commercial and contractual risk in revenue-generating transactions.
* Support bid teams on strategic opportunities, including direct customer negotiations.
* Provide pragmatic advice on disputes, contract interpretation, regulatory change and governance matters.
* Build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders and act as a trusted legal adviser.
* Ensure compliance with internal policy, competition law and wider regulatory obligations.
* Escalate risks appropriately and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience
* Strong commercial contracts background in telecoms, technology or similarly fast-paced sectors.
* Public procurement / framework experience required for at least one role.
* Defence contracting / relevant regulatory regime experience required for one role.
* Commercially minded, pragmatic, confident communicator, and able to work autonomously.
