What You’ll Be Doing: Be the first point of contact for all equipment and engineering issues during your shift. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns. Troubleshoot and resolve faults—getting to the root cause, not just the symptoms. Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery. Champion continuous improvement across equipment and processes. Collaborate with production teams and build strong cross-functional relationships. Ensure all work meets Health & Safety standards. Share your knowledge—mentor apprentices and support operator training. What We’re Looking For: A recognised apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or maintenance engineering. Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Ideally 18th Edition qualified (but not essential). Confident working with single/three-phase systems, motors, control panels, and drives. Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems. Skilled in dismantling and reassembling machinery. Strong fault-finding and decision-making abilities.
