About the Role As Technical Services Manager, you'll lead, develop, and motivate the Warehouse, Logistics, and Configuration Teams. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality services, ensuring systems and processes are followed, and supporting our long-term strategy as part of the senior management team. What You’ll Do:
* Operational Leadership: Oversee Warehousing, Logistics, and the Configuration Centre, ensuring day-to-day performance, legal compliance, and alignment with company standards.
* Strategic Collaboration: Report to the Managing Director and work with the Senior Management Team to shape and deliver business strategy, policy, and planning.
* Team Development: Support and develop managers and supervisors, promoting a culture of best practice, continuous learning, and team wellbeing.
* Departmental Strategy: Collaborate with department leads to manage staffing, forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control.
* Process & Performance Management: Maintain and improve departmental processes, implement KPIs, monitor systems, and regularly report on performance.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Celestra positively in external meetings, acting as the key escalation point and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
* Quality & Improvement: Lead service reviews and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
* Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company and legal standards and maintain up-to-date documentation of departmental processes. What You’ll Bring:
* Team Leadership: Proven track record of managing large, multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
* Industry Experience: Background in warehouse, logistics, or technical environments, with hands-on operational knowledge.
* Technical Understanding: Familiarity with EPoS IT solutions and warehousing systems.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong influencing and communication skills, confident presenting to all levels of the business.
* Commercial Awareness: Demonstrates solid business acumen with experience in financial oversight and cost control.
* Process Improvement: Experience driving efficiency, streamlining operations, and boosting productivity.
* Organisation & Resilience: Highly organised, with the ability to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, able to present data clearly and effectively.
* Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a logical, data-driven approach.
