Role Profile
Are you ready to launch your career in buying and procurement? We're looking for a Junior Buyer to join our dynamic team and help drive the sourcing and selection of top-quality products for our customers.
Responsibilities include:
1. Support the buying team with product selection, supplier communication, and order processing
2. Analyse sales trends and market data to make informed purchasing decisions
3. Maintain accurate purchase records and supplier databases
4. Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and stock availability
5. Assist in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms
6. Help monitor and improve inventory levels and turnover rates
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
7. A keen interest in buying or procurement
8. Strong analytical and organizational skills
9. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
10. Confident communication skills - both written and verbal
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (and bonus points for experience with ERP systems)
12. A relevant degree or previous experience in retail, supply chain, or purchasing is a plus
