Location: Clients home and local community
Position Type: Part-time
Working Hours:

Week 1:
Monday: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Week 2:
Monday: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Tuesday or Thursday: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Friday: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The weekly hours are 8 hours during term time and 16 hours during school holidays.


About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide buddy support for a bright and spirited 12-year-old boy with a hypoxic brain injury living in Weston-Super-Mare. He is non-verbal but communicates confidently using Makaton and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
He loves engaging in a variety of fun activities such as:
* Arcades & soft play
* Bowling & cinema trips (he loves dancing in the aisles!)
* Horse riding
* Banger racing with his dad
* Outdoor adventures in local parks
Youll be working closely with a warm, loving family who are passionate about providing the best opportunities for their son.
