About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Academy Trainer to support the development, training, and certification of new Enforcement recruits. This is a vital role within our Enforcement Academy, focusing on delivering high-quality training, coaching, and feedback to support learners through their journey to certification. If you’re a people-focused trainer with a background in enforcement or adult learning—and a genuine passion for helping others succeed—this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our enforcement workforce.
Responsibilities
* Training Programme Development
o Design and update engaging training programmes, including induction, refresher, and specialist modules.
o Ensure all materials are aligned with City & Guilds Assured standards and current legislation.
o Work with subject matter experts to create scenario-based content that brings real-world enforcement situations to life.
o Leverage technology and tools to develop interactive and accessible learning materials.
* Delivery & Facilitation
o Deliver classroom-based, virtual, and in-field training sessions across the UK.
o Facilitate practical assessments and workshops to support development and readiness.
o Provide one-on-one coaching and live environment mentoring to new and existing staff.
* Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
o Monitor the effectiveness of training through feedback, audits, and performance data.
o Identify skill gaps and implement targeted learning interventions.
o Maintain accurate training records and contribute to internal reports and evaluations.
* Stakeholder Engagement
o Collaborate with Recruitment, Compliance, and Operational teams to ensure training supports business needs.
o Represent the Academy in internal and external forums.
o Promote a strong learning culture across the enforcement workforce.
* Third-Party Engagement
o Help develop relationships with external partners who can identify potential Enforcement Academy candidates.
o Collaborate with third parties to develop bespoke content that introduces potential recruits to Marston and the role of an Enforcement Agent.

* Team Player: Comfortable working across departments to deliver results.
* Adaptability: Able to adjust methods in fast-paced, changing environments.
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in training delivery or working within enforcement roles, with a solid grasp of relevant processes and legislation.
* Recognised training or coaching qualifications are beneficial (e.g. CIPD, ILM, PTLLS/DTLLS).
* Familiarity with City & Guilds Assured frameworks is an advantage.
