The Team
The Business Acceptance Unit reviews and advises Partners on client engagement terms, including Outside Counsel Guidelines and amendments to standard terms.
We are seeking a Paralegal to join the Engagement Terms Team (ETT) on a fixed-term contract until April 2026.
What you will do
This role involves providing administrative support to the ETT Legal Team, supporting other BAU members and the wider business with engagement terms queries. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Team Lead and in-house lawyers in reviewing client Outside Counsel Guidelines and engagement terms.
* Assisting with PA duties like scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing inboxes.
* Managing the workload tracker, recording reviews, and attending weekly team meetings.
* Organising meetings, booking spaces, and updating leave calendars.
* Supporting research and projects, managing communications across global offices, maintaining trackers, and ensuring document presentation quality.
* Being flexible to undertake additional responsibilities as needed, including supporting other ETT team members.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills are essential.
* Good time management and ability to prioritise deadlines.
* Proven IT skills with basic proficiency in Excel and Word.
