We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mould Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our extensive portfolio of moulds, ensuring they’re ready for production when needed. About the role
* Maintain, repair, and improve moulds to ensure optimal performance.
* Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to minimise downtime and enhance tool reliability.
* Carry out high-quality maintenance with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
Working at rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm and 8:00am to 4:00pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
About you
To be successful in this role you ideally have:
* Background in a production or manufacturing environment.
* MIG and TIG welding experience.
* Strong mechanical and fabrication skills, including use of lathes, mills, grinders, and hand tools.
* Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Comfortable using digital tools and systems (e.g., CMMS or mould maintenance software).
* Physically fit with good manual handling awareness (role involves handling heavy tooling).
* Self-motivated, independent, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Reliable team player with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full UK driving licence (Forklift Truck licence preferred).
