Managing a contract of over 5,000 properties as well as a team of supervisors and operatives, the role is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the contract, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensure the service delivered meets profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in partnership with clients to exceed operational and business expectations. Manage and motivate full-time staff and contractors.
* Ensure profit and performance targets are achieved.
* Liaise with the client's representatives and resident groups.
* Monitor contract performance and achieve Key Performance Indicators.
* Manage resources for efficiency and contractual compliance.
* Oversee the quality, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a safety culture.
* Manage a team of Contract Supervisors and liaise with Administrators and Resident Liaison Officers, including mentoring and development.
* Ensure works are completed on time and to standard; develop progress reports.
* Maintain management systems and processes to meet targets.
* Key Knowledge: Formal qualifications in Construction, understanding of contract management principles, ability to adapt to workload, prioritize tasks, motivate teams, and resolve complex issues. Knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and safety standards (IOSH, CSCS, SMSTS).
* Key Skills: Good communication, IT literacy, system-driven, proactive.
* Additional Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with teams, complete reports, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various conditions. Mentor colleagues, comply with policies and safety legislation, promote diversity, and undertake tasks as assigned.
