Overview
We are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with pupils and students from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills). You will support vulnerable young people with SEND and SEMH needs in a trauma-informed, holistic approach, plan and deliver flexible tutoring and mentoring, and contribute to a child-centred mission to raise educational standards.
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: provide support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: participate in knowledge sharing and resources activities
* Referral Programme: help connect tutors and be rewarded for successful referrals
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress

* Subjects: familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
Qualifications and Compliance
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
Location and Safeguarding
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online roles
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

* Cowes, Isle of Wight – £28 - £35 per hour
