Current Opportunities
Finance Systems Officer
We are looking for a Finance Systems Officer to join our finance team, supporting the council’s core business systems across Finance, HR/Payroll, and Procurement. This role is part of a small, dedicated team that ensures the smooth operation of our Unit4 ERP system and its connected processes.
We are seeking someone to help maintain and improve the day-to-day running of our financial systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that data flows between systems are accurate and timely, supporting everything from supplier payments to statutory returns.
This is a hands-on, supportive role involving routine system tasks such as uploading data, reconciling interfaces, and responding to queries from colleagues across the council. You’ll also assist with testing and documentation during system updates and help users make the most of the ERP system through clear guidance and support.
You don’t need to be a systems expert from day one, but you should have a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and a genuine interest in how systems can support better services. In return, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that plays a vital role in helping the council deliver high-quality services to the people of Norwich.
Join us in delivering excellence and value for our community. Apply now and make a difference!
Whether you're looking to step up, specialise, or bring your experience to a team that values it - we'd love to hear from you.
