Purpose of the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic finance professional to support a high-impact capital planning and financing initiative. This individual will play a key role in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and lender presentation development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Capital Planning:
* Develop and maintain long-range (5-10 year) financial models including P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet, to support strategic planning, liquidity forecasting, and investment decisions.
* Evaluate capital allocation strategies including debt repayment and reinvestment opportunities.
* Collaborate with business units to assess capital needs and align financial strategy with operational objectives.
2. Refinancing Support:
* Assist in evaluating refinancing options
* Support due diligence, data room preparation, and interactions with lenders and advisors.
* Model debt scenarios and covenant impacts
3. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
* Prepare board-ready presentations and investor materials related to capital structure, refinancing strategy, and liquidity.
* Track and analyse key financial and operational metrics relevant to debt service and leverage.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Partner with Legal, Treasury, and external advisors on refinancing documentation and execution.
* Work closely with FP&A and accounting to ensure alignment in financial forecasts and reporting.
Qualification and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
* Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling, including scenario analysis.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects under tight timelines.
* Experience working on financing initiatives or large-scale capital planning projects.
