You’ll be working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the North of England, with a balanced mix of office-based work and site visits.
Therefore, you must hold a full UK driving licence and be open to travel.
YOUR NEW OPPORTUNITY You’ll lead on cost management across all project stages, from concept to completion You’ll work closely with both clients and delivery teams, influencing real outcomes Expect a variety of complex, high-value projects You’ll join a supportive team where collaboration and innovation are at the core YOUR NEW ROLE Lead the preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other required reports Prepare valuations and payment applications, ensuring all documentation aligns with the contract Deliver detailed Cost Reports to clients with accurate, contractually compliant supporting documentation Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness Oversee subcontractor and supplier accounts, from requisition preparation to authorising payments and agreeing on final accounts Take charge of contract administration, including managing changes and maintaining comprehensive registers Identify and assess commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering options, and changes Leverage costing systems to streamline processes and enhance decision-making Provide expert input for the preparation of internal commercial reports and other necessary documentation ABOUT YOU Hold relevant industry qualifications to back your expertise Commercially aware with deep knowledge of standard contracts and measurement methods Ability to negotiate, present, and influence effectively Experience in the construction or engineering sectors with a solid commercial background Proficient in NEC forms of contract A minimum of 2 years in a Senior role SALARY AND BENEFITS £70,000
