About the Role
As a Care Home Manager at Broadoak Manor, you’ll value kindness above all. The role focuses on the well‑being of our residents, ensuring their emotional and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate and mentor a multidisciplinary team, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans, monitor safety practices, and promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect. You will also champion quality assurance and continuous improvement, delivering exceptional care that meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the well‑being of residents, ensuring emotional and social needs are met.
* Lead, motivate and mentor staff to ensure efficient running of the care home.
* Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation.
* Promote resident independence, choice, dignity and respect through high‑quality care and continuous improvement.
* Carry out quality assurance monitoring and ensure the home operates above regulatory standards.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced care home manager with strong leadership skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments. You should have, or be willing to obtain, a Level 4 Registered Managers Award, Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or a willingness to study for one. All candidates must demonstrate considerate and kind communication with residents and co‑workers.
* Experience managing care homes.
* Strong leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork.
* Experience conducting risk assessments.
* Registered Managers Award Level 4, Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures; able to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and take appropriate action.
