Our client, a leading company in the Power Utilities and Energy sector, is currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in Quantity Surveying, QS, and NEC contracts, looking to make a significant impact in the field of Power Distribution. The company provide a full turnkey service to the Electrical, ICP industry, delivering design and build works for BESS, Solar, Gas Peaking Plants, Onshore Wind and EV infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Managing and administrating NEC contracts (3 and 4) with values ranging from £10k to £2m Reporting to finance and contributing to financial oversight Mentoring and providing peer reviews for Graduate QS/Trainee Quantity Surveyors Conducting site measures and site visits as required Ensuring accurate and timely cost reporting and forecasting Collaborating closely with project managers to ensure effective project delivery Maintaining robust commercial control of projects Engaging with stakeholders to fulfil project objectives Job Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Experience in administering NEC 3/4 contracts Understanding of Utilities and Civil Engineering sectors Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in cost management and report writing Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work remotely with occasional office visits Benefits: Paying up to £65,000 per annum 25 days plus Bank Holidays Company car or car allowance Monday to Friday 40hrs per week Remote / Hybrid working Opportunity for career progression into senior roles such as Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager Supportive and collaborative work environment Exposure to a variety of significant projects within the Power Distribution sector Employee benefits package including company car allowance, private medical care, and performance-related bonuses If you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to advance your career in the Power Utilities and Energy sector, we would love to hear from you.
