Week 1: Mon - Fri 6:00 - 14:00
Week 2: Mon - Thurs 14:00 - 22:00, Fri 14:00 - 20:30
Week 3: Sun - Thurs 22:00 - 6:00
Our client, a pharmaceutical/ingredients company, is growing its production team and looking to recruit one or two Production/Process Operators to work at their modern facility and play a crucial role within the production process.
The Role
1. Work independently or as part of a small team to undertake production schedules within the manufacturing facility.
2. Record details of process jobs on batch manufacturing records.
3. Input jobs and material movements on SAGE/materials & financial management systems.
4. Possess team leadership skills and the ability to deputize as Team Leader during holidays or absence.
5. Carry out basic in-process testing such as pH or Brix measurement.
6. Collaborate with packaging, warehouse, and extraction teams to ensure smooth material flow.
7. Clean process equipment and work areas; assist with site maintenance.
8. Participate in or lead deviation investigations when necessary.
9. Author manufacturing SOPs and other documentation, demonstrating good writing skills.
10. Observe safety practices and work in line with health and safety regulations.
The Person
1. Experience in a BRC (food or drink) related production setting and/or GMP (training can be provided for GMP).
2. Experience working with IT systems (SAGE, Microsoft applications, etc.).
3. Experience following SOPs and adhering to H&S standards.
4. Preferably experienced in material extraction, evaporation, liquids manufacturing, filling, and packaging.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Good interpersonal skills for effective communication across teams and the ability to work independently after training.
