Overview
Awaze is Europe’s largest manager of holiday rental properties with 110,000 units under management in over 600 destinations across 25 countries. The role is based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
We are looking for an Oracle EPM Administrator to manage and develop Awaze’s Oracle cloud-based EPM applications, including Planning, Narrative Reporting, and Account Reconciliation. The role supports continuous improvement of EPM and other Finance systems, ensures effective functionality aligned with business needs, and provides training and support to EPM users across multiple locations. The role also liaises between Technology and Finance to drive system enhancements and resolve issues, and contributes to broader Finance systems tasks and project work as required.
Responsibilities
* Oracle EPM Administration: oversee day-to-day management of Awaze’s Oracle EPM applications (two Planning environments, Narrative Reporting, and Account Reconciliation), including system access, data processes, metadata updates, scheduled tasks, and integrations (e.g., Netsuite, Sage People, Snowflake).
* Ensure compliance with policies and maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge bases.
* Provide helpdesk support to users across subsidiaries, coordinating with external vendors as needed.
* Support ongoing upgrades through release testing and system monitoring.
* Oracle EPM Development: design, build, and enhance EPM functionality (Planning including Essbase calculation scripts, task lists, planning forms; Reports via SmartView, Narrative Reporting, Account Reconciliation).
* Account Reconciliation implementation and development; Data transfer processes using Data Exchange.
* Deliver solutions for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, working with finance teams and external consultants as required.
* Assess, test, and implement system enhancements and technical solutions.
* User Training & Support: provide training, technical mentoring, and support to finance users in multiple locations to ensure effective system adoption and usage.
* Finance Systems Projects: collaborate with Tech and Finance teams on broader finance systems initiatives; gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements or new projects as needed.
* Other Requirements: flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally.
