Discover Impactful Work:
1. Supervision of contractors, FSE and service providers using TRACTION system to welcome guests and chaperoning them during their tenure.
2. Planning of personal work requirements using sprint planning / SCRUM methodology
3. Completes documentation to GDP standards.
4. Responsible for supporting and aligning with the Company's safety and hazardous waste management program, including safe hazardous waste handling and good housekeeping
5. Assisting with PRs (Problem Reports) and CAPA (corrective action / preventative actions) investigations when problems arise.
A day in the Life:
6. Working in ISO 5 & ISO 7 clean rooms, wearing personal respirator hood PPE to carry out daily tasks
7. Responsible for PMs, calibrations and services on key equipment agreed by Engineering manager based on competency and proficiency.
8. Adopting a ‘minimise downtime, increase availability’ methodology
9. Understanding and safe use in workshop tools (hand tools / automatic tools) once assessed by EHS specialist and Engineering Manager.
10. Understanding and use of CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
11. Routine maintenance of associated laboratory, manufacturing and workshop equipment agreed by Engineering manager based on competency and proficiency.
12. Maintenance of the clean room environment, including clean transfer of tools and any other work associated materials into the clean-room.
13. Continuous improvement in understanding of quality and efficiency concepts as they apply to all work performed, services offered, communications and products.
14. Understanding, crafting, and following risk assessment
15. Understanding, supporting, and filling out of Permits to work
16. Supporting changeovers on equipment in ultra clean area wearing required safety PPE / Respirator
17. Supporting team in preparation and during audits
18. Understanding, creating and participating in equipment validation
19. Leading PPI methodology at individual and team level
20. Demonstrates operational discipline individually and as a team
21. Demonstrating agile leadership individually and as a team
22. Supports, responsible for and participates in site projects using engineering bias to FIND A BETTER WAY
23. Mentor and coaching ability supporting apprenticeship program
24. Ability to review data / metrics to establish trends that can be understood and translated into actions
Keys to Success:
Education
25. Engineering modern apprenticeship / time served ( & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3).
26. Minimum HNC qualification in engineering
27. Ideally HND qualified in an engineering capacity
28. 7+ years proven experience post HNC
29. Multi skilled (Elec/Mech)
30. Engineering career goal
31. Experience of implementing change, process improvement and reducing costs.
