Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive clinical team at our long established practice in Camberley that is part of the Surrey Heath PCN and Federation. The Salaried GP will provide high‑quality primary care services to patients registered with the practice, including temporary patients. The role involves delivering clinical care, participating in practice meetings and contributing to the overall functioning and development of the practice. We are a proud training practice owned by a successful GP Federation and Linked PCN, with lots of opportunity for professional growth. We are looking for a minimum of 4 sessions per week, with the potential for more.

Main duties of the job
* Make yourself available for a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, home visits, repeat prescription processing, paperwork and correspondence, following practice timetable.
* Provide high‑quality clinical care to patients, including consultations, history taking, examination, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up, making professional autonomous decisions.
* Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, providing appropriate care and advice; assess patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Record clear and contemporary consultation notes to agreed standard and using agreed clinical systems.
* Collect data for audit purposes.
* Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary.
* Refer patients to secondary care or other health‑care professionals as necessary.
* Work sessions covering 8:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday, Saturdays 9:00 to 17:00, as part of a rota and duty doctor on call.
Qualifications required
* Medical Degree
* GMC fully registered
* Medical indemnity
* Active on Performers list
* Evidence of professional development
* Good communication (oral / written) skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office applications
* MRCGP (may not be required for qualification before 2007)
* Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education for Healthcare Professionals (role‑specific requirement)

* Active GP trainer status

£11,660 per session depending on experience.
