The is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they are satisfied with our service.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the full hire process from order intake to delivery and collection
* Liaise with multiple depot teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction
* Work with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimize delays and ensure availability
What you’ll need
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
* Adaptability
* Commitment to learn and develop
* Driving licence
* Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar sales or operational role
* Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver
