DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences within our Engineering department. About the Role
As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer, you will teach and assess learners across a range of Motor Vehicle courses, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will act as a Programme Tutor for a caseload of students, support their progression, and maintain strong links with industry to enhance the curriculum.
Essential Criteria
* Hold a relevant Motor Vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above
* Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English
* Holds a minimum Level 5 teaching qualification or willing to work towards within an agreed timescale
* Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and quality frameworks
* Ability to embed English and Maths within lessons
* Strong classroom management and ability to motivate learners
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Motor Vehicle courses
* Act as Programme Tutor for a designated student caseload
* Develop engaging lesson plans and schemes of work, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technology
* Monitor and record student progress, attendance, and behaviour, taking appropriate action where necessary
* Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to support student progression and curriculum development
